Work Planner / Mechanical Engineering Drafter

Your challenge
As a Mechanical Engineering Work Planner / Drafter, you are the link between engineering, purchasing, production, and assembly. You ensure that everything is technically correct before production starts.
Your duties include, among other things:
- Developing 3D models and technical drawings.
- Creating production and assembly drawings.
- Preparing bills of materials and work packages.
- Preparing for production and assembly.
- Checking designs for manufacturability.
- Consult with engineering, production, purchasing, and project management.
- Providing support with technical issues during execution.
- Contributing ideas for improvements, standardization, and new solutions.
No two days are the same. Every installation is custom-made and requires a smart technical approach.
The Mechanical Engineering Work Planner / Drafter at KARA
- Possesses a completed MBO level 4 education in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Has experience with a 3D CAD package, preferably Inventor
- Has technical insight and an affinity for mechanical engineering or structural engineering
- Has an accurate and structured working method
- Has good communication skills
- Good command of the Dutch language. English and German are a plus
