Your challenge
As a Fabricator/Welder, you will work with an enthusiastic team on the production of complete installations and high-quality structural components for our biomass energy systems.
Based on technical drawings, you independently assemble structures, process components, and perform various welding activities. You work primarily in our workshop in Almelo and occasionally, if necessary, on location at the customer's.
Your duties include, among other things:
- Assembling and welding various components of the installation (no series production).
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Machining materials by sawing, drilling, grinding, tapping, bending, and rolling.
- Performing MIG/MAG welding work and TIG welding where necessary.
- Assembling parts into complete modules or components.
- Performing dimensional and quality checks during and after production.
- Identify and report deviations to the Team Lead Production or Engineering.
- Recording production hours per project.
- Contributing ideas for improvements in production processes, aids, and tools.
- Ensuring a safe, tidy, and organized workplace.
The Structural Fitter/Welder at KARA
- Possesses a completed technical education, for example as a Structural Fitter, Metalworking, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Has experience as a metalworker, welder, or in a similar position.
- Has experience reading technical drawings.
- Has experience with MIG/MAG - TIG welding.
- Can work independently, but can also function well within a team.
- Has an eye for quality, safety, and order.
- Has a practical approach and a proactive work attitude.
